We have previously performed tests with 2 active power meters. In this case we will visualize the difference of both measures of instantaneous active power. I notice that I do not have a standard meter to take as a reference, I simply want to corroborate that if the calculation made in Arduino IDE with the Chint pulse meter is consistent with the measurement of the Peacefair meter.

Conclusion
Initially, caution is requested in the manipulation of these equipments. There is an electrical and elctronic risk, knowledge about electricity is required, if you do not have such knowledge, do not perform tests without supervision or training.
Well as I mentioned before is a “visual” comparison I have no guarantees of accuracy or exact references, the idea is to compare and in my case validate if the calculation made in the ESP8266 for the Chint pulse meter is correct or it resembles the measurements of the PZEM-004.
Test
Three measurements of 3 light bulbs with different consumption according to their manufacturer were made:
Test 1
Power according to Manufacturer Measurement PZEM-004 Measurement DDS666
Light bulb 13W 12 a 13W 12.5W
Test 2
Power according to Manufacturer Measurement PZEM-004 Measurement DDS666
no detail, 45W possibly 42 a 45W 42.5W
Test 3
Power according to Manufacturer Measurement PZEM-004 Measurement DDS666
Light bulb 70W 72 a 74W 70.9W
The variation is + or – 4 watts between both measurements, really the purpose of the test was to validate how close to the meter PZEM-004 is the calculation made in the ESP8266 with the pulses of the CHINT meter.
Considering that the PZEM-004 is made and dedicated for a correct measurement, the CHINT meter has done very well.
Another variable to take into account the update of the display 7 segments of the PZEM-004 meter is very oscillatory because of its very fast update, if serial data is requested it will be stable, in future tests we will validate via serial, possibly the measurements will not oscillate so much.
Final conclusion
From my point of view both meters work very well, and for applications such as measurement of electricity consumption in residences, investors, maybe motors, it could be a solution if they do not have an industrial brand meter.
